Northop Silver Band
We are a North Wales band competing in the Championship Section.
In recent years, we have competed in the British Open Competition and National Finals at the Royal Albert Hall.
We perform locally and further afield on a regular basis. Check out our Home and Events pages for details about forthcoming concerts.
We had a fantastic night at the Whit Friday Marches playing The Wizard in 10 Tameside villages. The Band are proud of how we played and would like to extend our thanks to our MD Ryan David for the prep needed to produce such a great set of performances.

A proud day for the band at Birmingham Town Hall. Our performance of Star-Crossed Lovers earnes us 13th place, ensuring we remain in the Grand Shield for 2027. Special thanks to Ben Dixon for leading us through a fantastic two weeks, and Ryan Richards (who was also on stage with us) and Tom Wyss for their preparation. Congratulations to Milnrow and Hepworth on qualifying for the British Open.

We would like to congratulate Xander from Northop Brass, for a great performance in the Urdd National Eisteddfod in Anglesey. It is such an achievement to reach the national final and represent the local area and our band too. Llongyfarchiadau enfawr Xander!
